20 enemies inside the keep spamming Meat Bags and Oils? That's okay! Just cast Bone Shield, target an enemy through the door, Shield Charge them, Streak into the back flag cluster, and pull off the Suppression Field combo and enjoy having neutered the enemy defenses. You are also able to fill the "Siegebreaker" role. Even fellow magSorcs using Streak will use up their entire Magicka pool trying to get away, unaware that Shield Charge has a longer range! Hunt them down, snare them, and wait for a friend to help finish them off. When you notice enemies clustering, it is time for the Streak -> (Fasalla's Guile Defile) -> Restraining Prison -> Suppression Field -> Pulsar combo, which will leave piles of enemies Rooted, Silenced, Defiled, and stuck with -10% Health for your squad to Ultimate Dump or Magicka Detonate!įinally, you can clean up the battlefield by hunting down EVERY surviving enemy, as NOBODY can escape your dual-stat mobility combo of Streak -> Shield Charge. You can be extra nasty and use a poison on your weapon, perhaps Increase Stamina Cost, Minor Maim, and/or Minor Fracture/Breach. There's a HIGH chance that the combo will result in a kill for your squad, as the dual CC and durability debuffs will either keep them in place long enough to be killed OR demolish their Stamina pool, leaving them much weaker for follow-up attacks (or re-applied CC by you!). The playstyle is to be the tip of the spear when encountering an enemy group and abusing the Shield Charge -> (Fasalla's Guile Defiles them) -> Pierce Armor -> Restraining Prison combo as much possible, taking special care to target high-priority enemy squishies (healers, magDPS, gankers) and tanks. Streak (AoE stun and key positioning ability) Pulsar (AoE Minor Mangle, opportunity to inflict Concussion) Suppression Field (the single deadliest skill in PvP, AoE silence) Restraining Prison (AoE immobilize that STACKS with the stun from Shielded Charge!) Pierce Armor (big, single-target armor debuff) Steed Mundus (Health Regeneration and 10% movement speed) Transmutation (if short of healers) or Fasalla's Guile Lightning Staff backbar.īlackrose Sword and Shield (AMAZING PvP set that turns Shield Charge into a spammable, gap-closing Hard CC). She is a professional "disruptor" in that she has basically no independent damage output but brings heaps of group-play utility, primarily focused on debuffing the enemy and setting them up for easy kills by squad mates.īloodspawn (boring, I know, but the Ultimate generation is too good)Īlessian Order (underrated set that synergizes extremely well with the 20% health regeneration Sorc passive and Bloodspawn/Nord/Lightning Form/Bound Aegis) I have a stable of three different Sorcs (stamDPS, magDPS, tank), but lately in PvP I've been gravitating toward my tankSorc. Fun and VERY annoying once used to running it :) Lots of stam and stam regen for dodge rolling, break free and sprint. Tough to kill with Immovable pots or can use armor pots. Mediocre damage NOT the best for solo or 1v1, but high team utility and insane mobility. Uses the powerful prisoners/deal engine for resources. Overload, other ult can be Negate, barrier or db. Sprints around on perimeter spamming purge and hots, throws ranged mines strategically usually on teammates or self, streaks offensively or defensively, keeps protective rune up at all times, spams wrath, hard ward if needed, looks for opportunities to spam crushing shock interrupt. Purge, regen or resto ward, streak, surge, deal, wrath, protective rune, ranged mines, hard ward, crushing shock. Coward weapons, Coward jewelry transmuted to infused with spell dmg enchants. This may or not be a build "no one uses" no idea.Ĭowards/Prisoners/Slimecraw-Chudan-mismatched +armor monster set depending. PvP magsorc nopet purge bot hybrid support/cc "Mesmer" (after very annoying GW1 Mesmer class :) ), havent used it in two years, but was fun then and probably better now due to transmutes.
